Pretoria Attorneys’ Association and Others Urgent Application Case No 17518/20

The Pretoria Attorneys’ Association and Others have launched an Urgent Application (Case No. 17518/20) to prevent the Road Accident Fund from terminating the services of panel attorneys.

The Road Accident Fund recently sent out letters that instructed panel attorneys representing the RAF to hand over all unfinalized files in their possession. The RAF notified panel attorneys of its intention to terminate all services as of the 1^st of June 2020. The Pretoria Attorneys’ Association and Others have approached the High Court to have this decision declared unconstitutional and have it set aside.
