Brandon Deneys is an attorney committed to becoming a pioneer in the legal profession. He is driven by a dedication to delivering excellent legal services to clients from all walks of life. Through continuous engagement with colleagues and thoughtful consideration of diverse legal perspectives, Brandon strives to contribute meaningfully to the sustainable growth and development of South African law.

He obtained his LL.B in 2018, followed by a Master’s degree in Labour Law from the University of Johannesburg in 2019. Under exceptional academic guidance, he achieved a distinction for his dissertation, which examined the constitutionality of a mandatory retirement age in South Africa.

While completing his full‑time Master’s degree, Brandon commenced his articles of clerkship at Gerard Culhane Attorneys, where he developed a strong foundation in civil litigation. Seeking to broaden his expertise in employment law, he ceded his articles to Cavanagh and Richards Attorneys in 2020. There, he gained substantial practical experience preparing for CCMA arbitrations dealing with unfair dismissals, unfair labour practices, and related matters. His litigation skills were further sharpened through exposure to cases involving domestic violence and maintenance.

In 2021, Brandon founded B Deneys Attorneys, where he serves as Director. The firm focuses on civil and commercial litigation as well as employment law. Brandon also contributes to the profession through his service on the Executive Committees of both the West Rand Legal Practitioners Association and the Gauteng Attorneys Association.
