Hilde Eksteen is a practicing attorney with a strong commitment to the development and transformation of the legal profession in South Africa. She actively serves on the Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) Youth Committee and has been an active committee member of the Gauteng Attorneys Association (GAA) since 2017.

In 2024, she served as Chairperson of the Johannesburg Attorneys Association (JAA) and continues to participate actively in committee engagements, with a particular focus on youth league initiatives and the advancement of young legal practitioners. She was a committee member of the West Rand Legal Practitioners’ Association (WLPA) from 2017 to 2023 and remains an active member of the association.

She is deeply passionate about training, mentorship, and providing guidance to the youth and future lawyers of South Africa. Through her professional and committee involvement, she is committed to empowering young legal practitioners and contributing meaningfully to the growth, excellence, and integrity of the legal profession. She is driven by a genuine passion for the law and its practice and is dedicated to making a lasting impact within South Africa’s legal landscape.
