Notice to Legal Practitioners – Rule 20.6

Certificate issued in terms of Section 4(2) of the Right of Appearance in Courts Act 62 of 1995

Practitioners should note that in terms of Rule 20.6 every attorney, who at the date of coming into effect of this rule, was in possession of a certificate issued in terms of Section 4(2) of the Right of Appearance in Courts Act 62 of 1995 shall, within six months of the date of the coming into effect of this Rule to lodge with the Council a copy of the certificate issued to him or her in terms of the Act.
